Media Invitation to Cover a Historic National Bible Reading During America’s 250th Anniversary
More than 100 organizations, 475 Participants and 7 Days of Scripture Read Live from The Museum of the Bible, Streamed Nationwide by Great American Pure Flix
WASHINGTON, D.C. | February 26, 2026 — Beginning April 18 and continuing through April 25, 2026, Christians Engaged and Family Policy Alliance Foundation will host America Reads the Bible, a weeklong public reading of Scripture at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C., produced and livestreamed nationwide by Great American Pure Flix.
More than 475 national leaders from government, entertainment, education, business, and ministry, representing over 100 organizations, will read the Bible aloud, from Genesis to Revelation, over seven days. The event takes place during the United States’ 250th anniversary year, offering a timely moment of reflection on faith, leadership, and the enduring influence of Scripture in American life.
The week opens with a special Opening Celebration on April 18, 2026, at National Community Church, Capitol Turnaround.
