During America Reads the Bible, April 18–25, 2026 in Washington, D.C., Scripture will be read publicly from the KJVER (King James Version Easy Read) Bible.

The KJVER preserves the historic beauty and authority of the King James Version while updating spelling and select wording to improve clarity for modern readers and listeners. It maintains the trusted structure and cadence of the KJV while making the text easier to follow in public reading.
