America Reads The Bible Time To Revive Art Exhibit with Mindi Oaten

Hosted by Time to Revive, the Biblical Art Exhibit, organized into 10 different Bible segments, features an interactive station for each segment, designed to draw you more personally into the narrative of the Bible. As you experience The Complete Portrait of the Messiah through this breathtaking Biblical Art exhibit, you will be inspired to dive deeper into His Word, and your relationship with Jesus is sure to be strengthened.

The Story of the Biblical Art Exhibit

In 2018, Time to Revive launched Revive School, a two-year study that teaches through the Bible daily, from Genesis to Revelation.  Revive School is based on the example in Acts 19, where Paul lectured in the Hall of Tyrannus daily for two years, and all of Asia heard the message of the Lord.  The focus of Revive School is to welcome people to study the Complete Portrait of the Messiah in all 66 books of the Bible through an online platform consisting of a daily reading plan, study questions, devotional, video teachings on the daily reading, and prophetic paintings by Mindi Oaten on each book of the Bible.  These Revive School prophetic paintings are beautifully displayed in the Biblical Art Exhibit: The Complete Portrait of the Messiah.

Mindi

Mindi Oaten is an artist with a heart to reveal beauty through brushstrokes, bringing Scripture to life on canvas. Working primarily in acrylics, Mindi creates visual expressions of what she senses the Lord speaking, often painting live during worship services, conferences, and ministry gatherings. She holds a BFA in Studio Drawing from Western Washington University, graduating magna cum laude.

Her life moves in two rhythms—home and ministry. At home, Mindi is a wife, a mother of three boys, and an artist who creates from a place of stillness, prayer, and devotion. In ministry settings, she paints live during worship and gatherings, inviting others to encounter the presence of God through art.

Since first being invited to paint with the Dallas-based ministry Time to Revive in 2015, Mindi has continued using her gifts in worship environments while also sharing about the calling of prophetic artistry and the journey of painting through the life of Jesus. Her desire is to inspire others to behold the beauty of God’s Word and to use their creativity to glorify Him.
